# 12 - ZOOM LIZARD
The Zoom Lizard in green pumpkin color is the most widely used soft plastic for Carolina rigging in the spring of the year.  Vary the line size and weight to the water conditions and fish this worm around spawning areas.  The fish can’t stand lizards, especially in the spring of the year.  I’ve often said that they just eat it out of the water just to get rid of it.  You will find that you can sometimes fish this lure a little faster than other soft plastics.  The legs and tail of the lizard have great action and the salt in the lure will make the fish hold on.  Don’t forget to experiment with chartreuse dye on the tail in off colored water.. it is a killer!
