# 19 - BOMBER FAT FREE SHAD

The Fat Free Shad is a flat sided crank bait that suspends. It will dive to a depth of 18 feet and can be worked through heavy cover. The lure comes with ultra sharp Excalibur hooks. Fish the lure on long casts and slow it down, even stopping it, while the lure is in the strike zone. Use a 7’ medium action cranking stick and 12 to 14 lb line, for most applications. Again, don’t be afraid to work this lure through the cover where the bass live. Yes, you will lose some lures but you will also put yourself in position to catch more fish.
