This tube should be rigged Texas style with enough weight to get through the cover and to the depth that you wish. Fish the lure on heavy line, say 20 lb Trilene XT. Be sure to pay attention to your line as some of the strikes will be soft and dampened by the cover. The tube should drop in front of the bass and be held in the cover a few seconds while the bass works its way to the lure. Be ready to horse the fish from the cover.
